Filtec offers a complete design, manufacture and installation service for new manways and davits to conform with current Health & Safety guidelines which recommends the use of 450mm or 600mm manways with lifting davit.
We recommend the use of 600mm manways ( unless conditions prevent their use ) as we have demonstrated, as part of a Health & Safety exercise, how impractical it can be to extract people from pressure filters where the older style McNeil manways are in use.
We offer new 600mm manways as part of our pressure filter refurbishment package.
